The Editing Course’ trains the students to master the technical and creative challenges of the editing process from syncing footages to the final cut and sound mixing. Student gets a chance to lay their hands on various editing softwares, the different genres and styles of editing for television and films.

Three Month Course Schedule
The first week of the course is devoted to learning Final Cut Pro and the class meets from 10am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. For the next five weeks, each student works on editing system for five hours a day during one of two shifts: 9am-2:30pm or 1:30pm-7pm. Students usually receive the shift they prefer and most often keep the same shift through the length of the course. Each day we set aside time from 1:30-2:30 so that we may cover a variety of topics ranging from scene analysis, tech lectures and guest lecture visits, among other things.
